The ViaLiteHD system comprises up to 13 rack mounted cards plus an SNMP card, all of which plug into a 19" 3U chassis with dual power supplies. For applications where a chassis is not required, standalone modules are available.
When the ViaLiteHD rack is configured with SNMP in slot 14 the user can fully monitor and control the all RF cards. A web interface GUI is provided that can be viewed locally or over a network web browser. Direct SNMP communication with any M&C system is also possible via the SNMP card which provides the following functions
- Parameters on RF cards can be reset
- Real time monitoring of RF card performance
- Alarm monitoring of all slots with event logging
- New RF cards can be automatically reprogrammed with new stored identity
- Actively manage redundancy switching
- Remote SNMP to local SNMP connection via optical fiber
- Allows new configurations of RF card to be uploaded
- Easy to use GUI as shown on right
